GenNet was founded in 2019 by Courtenay and Rodney with a simple belief: there had to be a better way for organisations to unify and integrate their communications—across teams, customers, partners, and suppliers.
At the time, “AI” was the buzzword of the moment, often referring to virtual and augmented reality. With a touch of humour, our early slogan was “We're all about AI”—though for us, AI stood for Accelerating Innovation.
Fast Forward to present day, and AI has come to mean something very different, now centred around generative and agent-driven technologies. While the definition has evolved, our original vision has not. Accelerating Innovation remains at the core of everything we do.
Today, GenNet is at the forefront of the Voice AI Agentic era, helping Australian organisations harness the power of intelligent voice agents to transform customer experience, streamline operations, and unlock new ways of working.
